July 8, Doors open at 10:00AM 
Location: Brook Farm Vineyards, 4203 Twenty Mile Stream Road, Proctorville, VT.
Explore and sample all the wines produced in Vermont at Brook Farm Vineyards. It’s an easy ride from the inn – just over an hour drive. Kay and Glenn will be there on our way to Woodstock – a wonderful day trip from the inn.
National Ice Cream Day at Billings Farm & Museum

Pet Portrait Painting Class

Learn how to paint an acrylic portrait of your pets face. Email a digital photo to allewelyn@longtrailschool.org before the first class so it may be adjusted to make it easy for you to paint from. Bring a bag lunch.

Penumbra Tintype Booth

​New York City's Penumbra Foundation are bringing their tintype booth to the Southern Vermont Arts Center for the opening of the photography show. You can schedule your portrait in tintype and actually watch this amazing process as it happens.

Thoreau Cabin Hike

​A Thoreau Cabin Dedication Ceremony will be help in the Saphouse from 9-11am and afterwards visitors are welcome to hike to the new Thoreau Cabin Replica that is approximately 4.5 miles with moderate difficulty. Please wear proper foot gear and bring water and snacks.
